About & Data Sources

In one sentence
This service retrieves publicly available cryptocurrency market data from third-party APIs and displays it in a filtered, sorted format. We do not create, author, or verify any of the underlying data.
Where every piece of data comes from
DEXScreener API
Pair data, pool metrics (liquidity, market cap, volume, price), transaction counts, and token-boost amounts are retrieved from api.dexscreener.com. We apply filters (age, liquidity, market cap, volume) and a composite score computed from the returned values. The score formula is documented in our source code and is an algorithmic heuristic — not a prediction.
Coinbase Exchange API
Product catalog (trading pairs, status, trading-disabled flag) is retrieved from api.exchange.coinbase.com/products. We compare successive snapshots to detect when new pairs appear. We have no inside knowledge of Coinbase's listing schedule. The detection reflects a change in publicly documented data.
CoinGecko API
Price, volume, and percent-change data for Coinbase-listed pairs is retrieved from api.coingecko.com (/exchanges/gdax/tickers and /coins/markets). We do not modify the numbers — only sort and filter them.

Caching and freshness
To respect upstream API rate limits, we cache responses for short intervals (20–45 seconds depending on endpoint). Data you see may be slightly delayed. For trade-critical decisions, verify directly on the source platform.
Source code & methodology
Scoring logic, filter definitions, and data transformations are documented in our source. If you have questions about how a specific value is computed, contact us.
