Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Wave Rider Scan (the "service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Risk Disclosure, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

The service is an informational read-only tool that retrieves publicly available cryptocurrency market data from third-party APIs and presents it in a filtered, sorted, visual format. We do not:

  • generate, author, or verify the underlying data;
  • execute trades, orders, or transactions of any kind;
  • custody, transmit, or control any user funds or assets;
  • provide brokerage, exchange, advisory, or fiduciary services;
  • offer any warranty regarding the accuracy of data.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally permitted to access cryptocurrency-related services in your location. The service is not offered in jurisdictions where cryptocurrency activity is prohibited or where its provision requires a license we do not hold.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service for any unlawful purpose;
  • scrape, copy, systematically download, or republish the data displayed by the service beyond reasonable personal use;
  • attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or other access-control measures;
  • interfere with or disrupt the operation of the service or the servers or networks that host it;
  • use the service to facilitate market manipulation, wash trading, coordinated pumps, or any other activity that would be unlawful in your jurisdiction;
  • resell, sublicense, or commercialize access to the service without our prior written consent.

5. No advice; user responsibility

The service is informational. It is not investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and for verifying any data before acting on it. See our Risk Disclosure for full details.

6. Third-party content and links

The service displays data from and links to third-party platforms. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party content or platform. Your interactions with third parties are governed by their own terms and are at your own risk.

7. Intellectual property

The service's original design, source code, layout, and branding are the intellectual property of Wave Rider Scan. Third-party data remains the property of its respective owners and is used under each provider's public-API terms. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership interest in the service or its underlying data.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WAVE RIDER SCAN, ITS OPERATORS, OWNERS, AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES, OR CONTRACTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY TRADING LOSSES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED USD 100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wave Rider Scan and its affiliates from and against any claim, liability, loss, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

11. Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including suspected violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator maintains its principal place of business, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of the service shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer protection law in your country of residence mandates otherwise. The operator's governing jurisdiction will be updated on this page once formally established.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
