1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Wave Rider ("the service"), a market analyzer scanner operated by SoftTelRG. By accessing the service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Nature of the service

The service is an informational, read-only viewer of publicly available market data covering cryptocurrency, US-listed stocks, and OTC-traded tickers. Rankings displayed by the service are generated by math that runs in your browser using filters and weights you configure (collectively, your "preference").

The service does not generate, author, verify, or own any underlying market data. It does not execute trades, custody assets, or interact with your wallet or brokerage account. The service is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, commodity trading advisor, or money service business. Nothing displayed by the service constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that your use of the service will not violate any applicable law in your jurisdiction.

4. Free and Pro tiers

The service currently offers only a free tier, which provides:

  • Access to a curated universe of approximately 100 US stocks and 20 OTC/ADR tickers, plus the crypto scanner;
  • Delayed market data (end-of-day for stocks; near-real-time with up-to-15-minute delay for watchlist quotes);
  • Client-side preference editor and scoring;
  • Inflation-adjusted watchlist analytics.

A future paid "Pro" tier is planned but not yet available. If and when Pro becomes available, its specific features, pricing, and terms will be presented to you for acceptance before you enroll. These Terms may be updated at that time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, systematically harvest, or bulk-extract data from the service for redistribution;
  • Reverse-engineer, circumvent, or attempt to break rate limits or other protective mechanisms;
  • Use the service to harass, defame, or harm any person;
  • Use the service in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
  • Represent outputs from the service as your own original analysis or as advice from a licensed professional.

6. Third-party data

Market data shown on the service is retrieved from third-party APIs (DEXScreener, Coinbase Exchange, CoinGecko, Yahoo Finance, Finnhub, FRED). Use of that data is subject to the respective terms of those providers. We reformat and display the data for informational use only. We make no warranties as to accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any particular purpose. For any important decision, verify directly at the source.

7. Intellectual property

The service's interface, layout, scoring engine, preference architecture, copy, and related materials are owned by SoftTelRG or licensed to us. You may view and use the service for personal informational purposes. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the service (or significant portions of it) without our written permission, except that exported preference JSON files are yours to share freely.

8. No advice, no recommendations

Rankings and scores on the service reflect only how well each security matches your configured preference. They are not buy, sell, or hold recommendations; they are not predictions; they are not advice. You are solely responsible for any financial decision you make. Consult a licensed professional familiar with your full situation before acting on information from the service.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL SOFTTELRG, ITS PRINCIPALS, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST SAVINGS, TRADING LOSSES, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE PREVIOUS 12 MONTHS (IF ANY), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SoftTelRG and its principals, agents, and affiliates from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the service or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or harms the service or other users. You may stop using the service at any time by simply closing the page.

13. Governing law

These Terms and any dispute arising under them are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SoftTelRG is principally located, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that jurisdiction for any claim that is not subject to arbitration.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted with a revised "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
