Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-23
1. Overview
This policy explains how Wave Rider Scan ("we," "us") handles information in connection with the service. We have designed the service to operate with minimal personal data collection.
2. Information we do not collect
We do not require registration or accounts. We do not collect:
- names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses;
- wallet addresses, private keys, seed phrases, or recovery information;
- payment information or financial account details;
- government-issued identifiers;
- biometric data;
- precise geolocation from mobile devices.
We never ask for any of the above, and you should never provide it to us.
3. Information we process automatically
- Server logs: IP address, timestamp, request URL, HTTP status, user agent. Used for security, rate limiting, and debugging. Retained briefly and not linked to any user identity.
- Coarse geolocation (country only): inferred from IP for the sole purpose of enforcing geographic restrictions. Not stored in logs beyond the request lifecycle.
- Cookies: one first-party functional cookie (
wr_disclaimer_ack) records your acknowledgment of the risk disclosure so it doesn't reappear on every visit (30-day lifetime). We do not use analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies by default.
4. Information stored on your device only
- Notification permission (web): if you opt in to browser alerts for new listings, the permission state is held by your browser. We never send push notifications from a server — alerts are triggered locally while the tab or app is open.
- Filter preferences (if applicable): any filter settings you adjust are stored in the session / local app state only and not transmitted to us.
5. Third-party data sources
When you use the service, our servers fetch data on your behalf from DEXScreener, Coinbase Exchange, and CoinGecko. These providers see our server IP, not yours. Their privacy practices are governed by their own respective policies. When you click an external link (e.g., to a chart, exchange, or wallet), you leave our service and are subject to the destination's own policies.
6. Hosting and infrastructure
The service is hosted on Vercel Inc. (United States). Vercel processes technical log data as part of its infrastructure services. Data may be processed in countries other than your own, with appropriate safeguards where required by law. See Vercel's privacy policy for details.
7. Your rights (EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- access any personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate personal data;
- request deletion of personal data;
- restrict or object to processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent (for processing based on consent);
- opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal data (California) — note we do not sell or share personal data.
Because the service is designed around minimal data collection, most requests will result in confirmation that no personal data is retained about you. To exercise any right, contact support@softTelRG.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 30 days).
8. Children
The service is not directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
9. Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures (TLS in transit, reputable hosting, security headers) to protect the limited data we process. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
10. Data retention
Server logs are retained for a short period (typically up to 30 days) for security and operational purposes. Functional cookies expire after 30 days or when you clear your browser cookies. We do not maintain user profiles or long-term records.
11. International transfers
Our hosting infrastructure may process data in countries outside of your own, including the United States. Where required by applicable law (such as EU GDPR), we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other appropriate safeguards provided by our infrastructure providers.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
